Big Day Out Added 1148 days ago. 25 April 2018 For driver Emma Sime, the chance to appear in Wiltshire Farm Foods’ new television advertisement led to a wonderful day out! “Being a driver is the best part of working for Wiltshire Farm Foods,” says Emma. When Emma Sime applied for a maternity cover role at Wiltshire Farm Foods’ North Devon office, little did she know that fame lay ahead. Emma’s driving qualifications caught the eye of her future boss, and she was recruited to help with deliveries. “Being a driver is the best part of working for Wiltshire Farm Foods,” says Emma. “You get to meet so many fascinating people who have done amazing things. My route maps Lynton, Lynmouth and Combe Martin across Devon’s moors – it’s beautiful.” In contrast to this tranquil scene, Emma was recently selected to appear in Wiltshire Farm Foods’ brochure and television advertisement. “Our office received an email asking for volunteers to be photographed as part of the relaunch of Wiltshire Farm Foods and my colleague, Mandy, volunteered us. “We were selected and invited to the Brecon Beacons for a photo shoot. We spent hours in hair and make-up – they made us look stunning! While there we were asked if we would like to be in a new television advertisement. “Filming took place at a bowling club in London and we had such a fun day. Again, we were made up and we looked amazing – I hardly recognised myself. The set was busy with so many people who finessed every aspect of the shoot. I couldn’t believe how many people were involved in creating just a few seconds of footage for the final advertisement.” GREAT MEMORIES So, how does it feel to be the face of Wiltshire Farm Foods? “I’ve had so many compliments it makes you feel really good,” says Emma. “My colleagues are proud we have put North Devon on the map. My mum has been busy been printing pictures off the website and sending them to relatives around the world, so Wiltshire Farm Foods is known far and wide. I have such nice memories of the days and it’s been brilliant to be part of the Wiltshire Farm Foods story.” Sign Up To Our Newsletters Get fortnightly updates from Wiltshire Farm Foods Email: Sign up We will keep your information safe and not sell it on to third parties.Read more about how we handle your data in our Data Protection Policy.
