Why Milk Free?

Some people cannot tolerate milk or milk products such as milk sugar or lactose. All of our milk free meals are also lactose free and do not contain any milk derivatives such as a butter, caseinates, cheese, cream, lactose, whey or yoghurt.

Milk is a rich source of calcium, an essential mineral for ensuring strong teeth and bones. Anyone following this style of diet should ensure they use alternative sources of calcium such as canned oily fish (with soft bones), sesame seeds, dried fruit like apricots and figs, fortified soya milk, tofu and calcium supplements.
