Gluten is found in obvious sources such as breads, pasta, flours, cereals, cakes and biscuits, and is used as ingredients in many household foods such as gravies and baked beans, so it is essential you check labels carefully. VISIT YOUR GP
Even if you display many of the aforementioned symptoms you should not eliminate gluten from your diet until you have received a formal diagnosis. If you suspect you may be gluten intolerant you should visit your GP immediately for a blood test. Once diagnosed adherence to a strict, life-long gluten-free diet is necessary to ensure a reversal of the damage and symptoms.
