If you regularly care for an elderly relative or friend, then you know how worrying it can be that they may not be eating as well or as frequently as they should, especially if you don’t live nearby. Getting the right daily nutrition is important, as well as catering for complex dietary needs, such as Diabetes or the many food intolerances that can occur in later life.

A little bit about us

Firstly, Wiltshire Farm Foods is a national business! Our headquarters are in Trowbridge, Wiltshire where we develop and make our meals but we have over 70 outlets around the country. We deliver to the mainland United Kingdom, as well as Northern Ireland. When you call your local outlet, you’ll speak to someone just up the road from you, who will know the local area and be able to recommend some great dishes to start off with.

We make and deliver ready meals and desserts, with a focus on nutrition, safety, and friendliness. Our service is ideal for the elderly, who may have difficulty cooking or shopping regularly, or have specific dietary needs that cannot be catered for elsewhere.

    How we differ from Supermarket meals

All our meals are made by us, at our premises in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. At our HQ we have dedicated nutritionists, food technicians, as well as highly skilled chefs to develop each meal. The food is cooked onsite – and then immediately frozen to preserve the nutrients and flavour of each dish.  We also have onsite Laboratory and Taste As You Go departments that check every batch we make, before we ship it, to ensure that it reaches the customer in perfect quality.

    How we differ from Supermarket delivery

When you place your first order with Wiltshire Farm Foods, your parent, relative or friend will be assigned a regular delivery round and delivery driver. All our delivery drivers are Enhanced CRB (police) checked for our customer’s security and peace of mind. Should you place further orders with us, we make sure that your parent or friend always has the same driver, someone they can trust as a friend. Some of our customers ask that their delivery drivers come into the kitchen and place the meals and desserts into their freezer, something we are happy to oblige.

How our Service works

We deliver to addresses around the country on a weekly basis, although in some areas it might be fortnightly. When you place your first order, we’ll send you an email or courtesy call to let you know when your parent or friend can expect our delivery driver. We don’t deliver in the evening or at weekends, but we will always try to accommodate your needs. Finally, delivery is always FREE with Wiltshire Farm Foods.
