Accessibility Help

Wiltshire Farm Foods has worked hard to make this site as accessible to as many customers as possible, whether you have a disability or are simply not using the latest technology.

Hopefully you will find this site easy to use and will not encounter any accessibility related issues. However, below are some accessibility advice that may help you get more out of the site.

For customers who need larger text

We have tried to ensure that the text on this site is as readable as possible. However we recognise that some customers may need to enlarge the text further.
The method you use to resize the default text size varies between browsers. Below we demonstrate how to change text size on the two main browsers; Internet explorer and Firefox.

Internet Explorer

To resize text in internet explorer go to view > text size and select the text size you require.

Firefox

In Firefox you can select to increase or decrease text size by pressing CTRL + or CTRL - respectively. Alternatively these options can also be found under view > text size.

If your browser is not listed above additional instructions are available from the BBC.

For customers who struggle using a mouse

Many people also suffer from some form of motor control problem that can make using a mouse very difficult. Because of this, we have added "access keys" to this site. These act as shortcuts to key links on the page. The access keys are as follows:

  • 0 - Skip to search
  • 1 - Return to the homepage
  • A - Chicken
  • B - Beef
  • C - Pork
  • D - Lamb
  • E - Fish
  • F - Mini Meals
  • G - Hot Desserts
  • H - Cold Desserts
  • I - Vegetarian
  • J - Most Popular
  • K - NEW Soft Range
  • L - NEW Puréed Range
  • M - NEW Soft and Puréed Desserts
  • N - Select
  • O - Soups
  • Y - Special Diet
  • Z - All Products
  • 1 - News
  • 2 - Dietary information
  • 3 - About us
  • 4 - Local outlets
  • 5 - Common Questions
  • 6 - Request a brochure
  • 7 - Contact us
  • 8 - View Basket
  • 9 - Checkout

To use an access key hold down the ALT key on your keyboard and press the appropriate number or letter listed above. On most browsers, this will immediately jump you to the appropriate page. However, if you are using Internet Explorer you will then need to press RETURN to activate the link.

For customers who use speech browsers

There are many speech browsers on the market each with a variety of different settings and options. We have done our best to ensure that this site works on the widest range of speech browser possible. However, if you do for any reason encounter a problem we would recommend you start by disabling Javascript from your custom settings (please refer to your software documentation for instructions on how to do this). If you are still encountering problems then please get in touch and we will do our best to assist you.

General help and advice

If you suffer from some form of disability whether visual, cognitive or motor related then you will be pleased to know there are many ways you can improve your browsing experience. For more details on how you can make the web more accessible visit the BBC accessibility website.
